Counseling Sessions
We all have a lot going on, more than we even know! Issues arise within our families, at work, and in our relationships. The pandemic has caused a whole host of issues such as isolation, substance misuse and negative self-talk. We struggle with finances, lack of sleep or exercise and there’s the grief and loss of our past lives and routines. I’m here to help you make contact with the part of you that upsets or confuses you. Together we can work through the uncertainty and figure out what you need, what you want, what will make you more whole.
Sometimes counseling is for a short while, to help you clear your mind, make things more manageable. Sometimes counseling uncovers more; issues you didn't realize were unresolved. Together we will make a plan and revise it as needed.
Individual Sessions
I practice using person-centered, gestalt, and emotion-focused therapy. We may explore mindfulness-based interventions such as visualizations and meditation as well. I specialize in helping clients with grief and loss, substance misuse, eating disorders, career change, depression, anxiety, and trauma. The fee is $125 for 60-minute sessions.
Couples Sessions
For couples work, I practice Emotion-Focused, Gottman Method, and Gestalt therapies. I provide a space for each partner to feel heard, accepted, and supported. I may meet with each member of the couple individually, but the majority of our work is together. The fee is $200 for 75-minute sessions.
